Angel Hair Pork Stir Fry

Angel Hair Pork Stir Fry uses Angle Pasta as it’s main starch ingredient.   You can use either Pork or chicken to great results.

In the early stages of a disaster, say just a few days into it, you will have used up most of your fresh veggies and meats.  you can use canned meat or even ham in this dish.     Most likely there will be lots of pasta floating around as well.   this dish uses Angle hair, but plain old spaghetti works great as well.

Use a campfire with a grill or a briqquette bbq for heating up the wok.

Angel Hair Pork Stir Fry Ingredients

  • 12 oz Pork Tenderloin, or one chicken breast
  • 6 ozes Angel Hair Pasta 9about half the package)
  • 4 cups Frozen French Cut Green Beans (or canned)
  • 1 cup, Onions, raw, chopped
  • 1 cup Peas and carrots, frozen or canned
  • 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 1tsp Olive Oil


Angel Hair Pork Stir Fry Directions

  1. Slice pork loin or the chicken breast into 1/2″ slices, then cut them across the grain into ribbons.
  2. In a skillet wok or dutch oven, spread olive oil and heat while adding the sliced meat (heat over campfire coals, on top of a wood stove or on a BBQ.
  3. Add the Teriyaki seasoning and cook covered on medium heat while chopping onions, add to meat.
  4. Continue cooking meat – covered, while preparing water for pasta.
  5.  salt & measure out the pasta. Heat the water in a large soup pan (or cook pasta first in Wok or dutch ovenOnce the water comes to a boil add noodles after the meat has cooked for 20 minutes.
  6.  Add Veggies
  7. When noodles are just about done, drain and add to the meat.
  8. Put partially cooked vegies into the mix and mix together.
  9. Add the additional soy sauce and cover – cook until vegies are complete.
